Career Development Plan

After I completed studying Diploma in Science, I continue studying in Bachelor in Chemistry with Education this year. All my family and friends think that I will be studying in Biology instead. Actually, Chemistry really interests me immensely and I feel I can do well in it. I love learning about chemicals, curious to know how the substance was produced and many things that connected with chemistry. I know this is my thing and I will flourish in this field. I am sure my family will respect me in this decision and support me to perform well in this course. 

In these 4 years of study, I want to be a teacher that can make the school students understanding and also feeling comfortable when I am teaching. I have been presenting in front of people, but my confidence is still low. In order to boost my confidence in teaching, I'll need to practice more in delivering speech in front of mirror and speak clearly and loudly so that the others can grab what I'm presenting about. I also need to learn various methods of teaching to make the others feel fun and excited to learn from me.

Reflections

Every week sessions have reflection. I'll keep update later for the details about I learned in every class session. Week 1 The lecture was cancelled because of the public holiday, Yang di-Pertuan Agong's birthday.  Week 2 The lecture for this week also cancelled due to the Malaysia's Day.  Week 3 Pn. Hajah Asmayati had briefed about assignments that need to be complete in 14 weeks.Then, we were divided into a few groups for assignments. Software were chosen by each group and we required to present it starting on Week 5. We were also given an issue to discuss through the forum in MyGuru. The topic is about ICT promotes English language use and discuss it. Week 4 Reconfirmation partners for all assignments due to the inbalance number of students in this class. For assignment 4, Infusing ICT in lesson, students were given a choice to choose which topic they want to present. So, my group chose to present Padlet to the others. Week 5 ...
